Introduction
to Statistical Process Control
Statistical Process Control is one of the most powerful techniques available to manufacturing industry and yet it is widely misunderstood and poorly used in many industries.
Many people do not understand the simplicity and power of the methods and many of the standard texts on the method are confusing.
We have produced a series of SPC 'Essentials Sheets' which give the basics of SPC in what we hope is a simple manner
The Essentials Sheets cover:
- Sheet 1 - Process Capability.
- Sheet 2 - Establishing Control Charts for Variables.
- Sheet 3 - Using and Analysing Control Charts for Variables.
Instructions
The Essentials Sheets are all available as Acrobat documents.
- Click on the image of the sheet needed to download it or right click and 'Save As....'.
- Print it out for reading.
- We recommend laminating the sheets and distributing them to the workforce
