Quality Management

The implementation of a Quality Management system to meet the requirements of ISO 9001 (formerly BS 5750) is not a difficult task but it demands freedom from the daily demands of a job. After participating in the Quality Management Seminar attendees have the option of a Tangram consultant working directly with them to define and implement a specific Quality Management system. This is a true consultancy service and is based in the client's factory where the quality system will be implemented.

The service will consist of the following stages:

• Review of the business plan to determine if certification is necessary. In many cases the benefits of Quality Management can be achieved without the necessity for formal accreditation.
• Review of the existing quality and other systems to determine the current status against the requirements of the standard.
• Modification of systems and associated documentation to meet the requirements of the standard.
• Implementation of the system.
• Guidance through the accreditation procedure to achieve full accreditation to ISO 9001.
• Monitoring the performance of the Quality System and effectiveness of the implementation.
